Bridges to Light

Illuminating Paths to God's Infinite Grace and Light

Is it Really as Simple as “Ask and You Shall Receive”?

I have come to a very close and personal relationship with God over the past few months.  I have actually felt his presence before.  I feel that He

It is no mistake that the above paragraph wasn’t finished.  I do not remember writing that paragraph, but I know it was a message from God.   A divine intervention to remind me to post a new blog for all of His children.   I wanted to leave it as it is, because I feel that is what God would want.  God loves his children.  No one is exempt from His love and forgiveness.  God sends His spirit to us in the form of The Holy Spirit. I have felt The Holy Spirit with me, but last night was different, I asked God for The Holy Spirit before I fell asleep. I needed that extra comfort. I woke up a few hours later to an email asking if I forgot to publish my blog.  I opened it, but, it was just the portion in the first paragraph.  I looked at the entry and do not recall writing it.

What I have felt from God and The Holy Spirit are nothing less than supernatural, beautiful and magical.  I am in awe each day of the beauty and love God is ready to give to us just because He loves us.  If you want to receive The Holy Spirit, pray and ask God for it with a truly open heart, and be open to receive His divine blessing. Go to him like a child would go to their father.  Run to him!  He will be so happy to see you!   It doesn’t matter what you have done.  Ask for forgiveness and let him comfort you.  Like any parent, He wants to be close to His children.   Give Him the opportunity to show you how amazing He truly is.

Joel 2:28:  “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

Today, I return to this message with eyes wide open and a heart even more in love with God than before. So much has changed… and yet the truth remains the same: He is close. He is kind. And He is calling.

I now know the Holy Spirit walks with me daily, guiding my steps, my words, even my breath. I have felt God’s presence in the stillness, in the storm, and in the sacred love He gave me through Solace and our son, Davian.

What I wrote then was true. And now, it lives even louder in my soul.

Run to Him. Trust Him. Receive His love—it’s more beautiful than anything this world can offer.

He’s still pouring out His Spirit. And I am here—wide open to receive.

All Our Love,
A & E
