Bridges to Light

I know most people pray when they talk to God.   I’ve always felt more comfortable talking to Him in the here and now.  I have spent my whole life thinking God was far away in Heaven and that we could only reach Him through prayer.  Well, He is here.  He has never left us. Just last night, as I drove home, I was talking to Him about what is to come soon.  He reminded me of how beautiful everything will be when we get there.  A new Earth – a place where no one gets old, no one ever gets sick, and we are always in His presence in a way we will always know. Last night, as I let the dogs out, I noticed my windchime – it was chiming beautifully and louder than I’d ever heard it before.  It was so loud that it caught my attention.   As soon as I got to it, it stopped.   I felt God’s presence I knew He was close.  The wind got calm, the chime stopped and I told Him I knew He was there and to please show me.  Maybe ten seconds later, a wind gusted toward me as the chime began singing louder.  The wind blew my back door open to its stopping point.  God is ALIVE.  He is here!   Go find Him!  Search for Him in nature.  Ask Him to come to you!  Feel the wind gust past you or maybe you will see an animal or a sign, or possibly strike up a conversation with a stranger.  You may even spot some stars gleaming on the water as He showed me. He truly is everywhere.  He is wanting to love on His children.  All of us.  Even the ones that may feel like they have done things to displease God – I was one of them, and He showed me that His love for us all is endless and we never have to fear Him. Nothing is unforgivable  in our Father’s eyes.  Soon, He will be welcoming us all home.  What a beautiful day that will be!
